The VIP Women in Technology Scholarship awards scholarships of up to $2,500 to women who are breaking barriers and pursuing technology careers. I love this scholarship because the application is simple and the requirements are relaxed enough that many of our female readers will be able to apply.
I chatted with the scholarship provider to help you learn even more about this opportunity. Good luck!
Every new year, I like to challenge myself to create a single goal and accomplish it before the end of the year. It’s a whole lot easier to focus on one goal than it is to try to tackle many simultaneously.
In 2006, I set out to apply for 100 scholarships. By the end of the year, I had applied for just over 120. As many of you are still pumped from the excitement of the new year, I’d like to challenge you to apply for at least one scholarship each month in 2014.
To help kick off this goal, I found these upcoming scholarship deadlines for February 2014.
Many of you have enjoyed our “upcoming scholarship deadlines” posts, so we decided to bring all of them together on one page, making it easier to find the scholarships you may have read about on the blog.
As we publish new scholarship lists, we’ll continually update this page with the links to those posts.
Due January 15, 2014, the 7th Annual Create-A-Greeting-Card $10,000 Scholarship Contest awards $10,000 to the student who creates the most original greeting card for The Gallery Collection to add to its line.
To help you win, we did this “scholarship of the month” a little differently. Instead of me giving you my tips on the scholarship, I interviewed The Gallery Collection to get some answers I’m sure you will all want to know about this award.
Check out our Q&A, as well as the eligibility requirements!
Happy (almost) New Year!
If you’re having some trouble finding scholarships with deadlines in January, you’re not alone. Historically, January is a slow month for scholarship deadlines. However, I’ve done some scouting and found three scholarships that I think just about all of my undergraduate readers can apply.
It feels like just yesterday that we were celebrating the fact that world didn’t end in 2012. And yet, pretty soon, we’ll say goodbye to a year that should never have happened (at least, according to the Mayans).
I know many of you made New Year’s resolutions to apply for scholarships. If you haven’t quite met that goal yet, you still have time! Here are some last-chance scholarships with application deadlines in December to help you start 2014 on the right foot.
