Pop culture has given us many famous foosball players, like Leif Garrett, Joey Tribiani, and those German guys on Community. But real life foosball stars? Not so much. That’s all about to change on 10 college campuses, though (or, as those Germans would say, things are so on that ‘they have now become very much like Donkey Kong”).
And it’s all thanks to Rider Sandals, SALT™, and most importantly, you!
We’re excited to announce that SALT has teamed up with Rider Sandals to take part in their Fall Foosball Tour. Starting tomorrow (at College Day at Fenway Park here in Boston), we’ll be touring college campuses around the Northeast and Midwest looking for their best foosball players.
At each of the 10 stops, we’ll hold a tournament-style competition to find that campus’s top kicker. However, bragging rights aren’t the only thing at stake. Each tournament winner will also get a prize package that includes something greener than the foosball pitch itself: cash. (Now there’s some green that can help you Face The Red.)
If you’re not that skilled at baby-foot (that’s what French people call foosball … seriously!), you should still stop by for our special dice game. Because while luck may not help you defeat The Red, it can earn you some cool SALT swag. In addition, everyone who attends will have the opportunity to get some free stuff from Rider and SALT.
So, check out the complete tour schedule below and come kick it with us on your campus!
