April Fool’s Day is a time of hilarity and whimsy, a time of laughs—and a time of getting back at people you secretly don’t like and calling it “celebrating.”
While these cheap buys from eBay won’t allow you to trick all of Britain into thinking there’s a spaghetti bush or people in Alaska that a dormant volcano is about to erupt, they allow for some pretty good pranks for under $5.
Fake Scratch Ticket
If you’re reading this blog, you probably have some student loans. If you have student loans, you probably have friends with student loans. Please, do not do this to someone with an exorbitant amount of debt. It’s not funny. I would probably cry. Anyone else is fine though.
Pretend you bought your friend a scratch ticket and watch them win fake millions. You can tell them it’s fake or watch them go into the store to try and cash it. Priceless entertainment for a little over $3? You can’t beat that.
Electric Shock Laser Pen
This 0.99 laser shock prank pen is your opportunity to get back at that kid who asks to borrow a writing utensil every day. Or maybe just someone you can convince to hold your pen.
12 Fart Bags … I Don’t Know Either
Now, I am not one to find humor in fart jokes. I don’t find humor in any kind of joke that in some way relates to disgusting bodily functions.
But, it’s my duty to tell you guys (I’m using “guys” casually, not to stereotype … though men may be more the target audience with this one) when you have an opportunity to get some bang for your buck. This really is a great deal for those of you who find this kind of thing funny. Twelve jokes for $1.99 is a pretty good deal to me.
This is great. At $3.99, this is really great. I know so many people who are complete freaks about taking a shower and washing their hands (and I mean that in the nicest way).
Slip this soap in the shower or by the sink and watch as people walk out of the bathroom with black hands. You have my permission to be suspicious about those who don’t. This is also perfect for roommates who hog the shower for 45 minutes every morning.
Fake Parking Violation
This one need not be used just on April Fool’s Day.
For $2.89 you can taste revenge 25 times. The ticket reads, “This is not a ticket, but if it were within my power, you would receive two. Because of your Bull Headed, inconsiderate, feeble attempt at parking, you have taken enough room for a 20 mule team, 2 elephants, 1 goat and a safari of pygmies from the African interior…” and it continues.
If you live in or near the city, you know why this is a great thing.
