I woke up to the news that a train crashed in Spain, sadly killing 80 people and injuring many more. Probably as a defense mechanism, I immediately transport back to mis días en Madrid (my days in Madrid). The tapas, botellones, las vistas (the sights); all the stories unfold in my head. And I smile.

How ironic; a tragedy triggers a flashback to one of the happiest times in my life.…

Last week on this blog, two things happened that I truly enjoyed. First, I got to serve up McDonald’s-related puns thanks to their new budgeting website. Second, I didn’t have to come up with a lesson for the video of the week—it did that all by itself, and it was still funny (well, sort of).
