Is there anything more annoying about the bank than waiting in line? OK, maybe there are a few things—like overdraft fees—but it’s not the most pleasant experience. You fill out the deposit papers, you wait for the “next in line, please,” and you slowly get through your errands. I don’t know about you, but the whole process takes a toll on my day.
But now, in this age of technology, mobile banks are sprouting to life and the notion of joining a big bank for accessibility purposes is slowly dying. You can control your finances on your phone and not pay a fee for using random ATMs. You don’t believe me? Yeah, I wasn’t too convinced either until my friend talked to me about Simple.com.
I figured I’d give Simple a shot to see whether it fit my banking needs. Here’s my review.…
Earlier this week, CBS premiered their summer miniseries Under The Dome. Sadly, the show isn’t a Jim Boeheim retrospective—rather, it’s an adaptation of The Simpsons Movie a Stephen King novel about a mysterious force field that descends upon a small town.

Tonight, 60 young athletes will find new jobs via the 2013 NBA Draft. And while analysts will assign words like “upside” and “length” to many of the picks, I’m hoping to hear just one descriptor: “fashionable.”
Yes, draft pick fashion has been legendary for decades, so much so that I had to include two videos this week (and still, Drew Gooden’s Dr. Evil-esque outfit didn’t make the cut!). The lesson here? Clothes are important when meeting a potential employer, but you’re more important.…
Have you ever reached for a broom only to remember you never bought one? Is there a blanket on your window because, oh yeah, windows need curtains? Tried to put your electricity bill on the fridge, but … you have no magnets?
